The Allman Brothers Band will have you Peakin' at the Beacon [1] March 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23 and 24 this year. These shows always sell out quickly but you may still be able to score a tix via TM [2]. Need some quick travel tips? You got it --fly into LaGuardia, take a licensed taxi to 75th & Broadway (about $25), and stay at the Beacon Hotel [3]. The Beacon Hotel also sells out, so make your reservations early. Once you're there, there are a lot of restaurants close by but a thrifty alternative is picking up deli items at the Fairway across the street. The Fairway's also a wonderful place to score picnic supplies for an afternoon spent in Central Park and Strawberry Fields -- a pleasant 15 minute walk from the Beacon.
