1. Supertramp: Lots of hits, tons of airplay. I just never liked them. It was the vocals for me.
2. Def Leppard: Just never quite got it. I can't ever remember a tune I liked.
3. Metallica: Just never liked anything I have heard. And no, I'm not anti-metal: As a kid in the 70's I was way into Sabbath and Judas Priest. I just never got Metallica, they always sounded like irritating noise to me. ____________________

In the rock genre I would have to say just about all the Arena Rock bands. IE Boston, Foreigner, Styx ect. Yuck. I don't care for Def Leppard, or Rush either. They may have a song or two I like but there is just something about that over processed sound that turns me off, or maybe its the high pitch male vocals. I like rock gritty and grungy.

I respect the talent of The Police, especially the drums, but they never fully grabbed me. Sting's solo career turned me off even more.

Wow, so many of my favorite all time bands are on this list. Still listen to lots of this music, some curious mentions. Here's one that I still can't stand. R.E.M. Here's a few more. Beck, Nirvana, Metallica, Dave Matthew's Band. To each his own I guess.
