Looking forward to this season because I am curious to see if the Pistons off season moves work out. I'm optimistic but I was also optimistic at the beginning of last season to. The other thing I would like to see is the Heat to not win the championship

I just scored great seats for tonights pre-season game featuring the Pacers vs. Dallas. It is only pre-season but they were incredible seats for cheap. My son will love it. We also have tickets to the home opener with the Pacers taking on Orlando. He is a big Victor Olidipo fan and it will be a great chance to see the future offensive ROY play in Indy.

Pacers are going to be tough this year. Grainger seems healthy from what i'm hearing. GO PACERS!

The 76ers knocked off the heat and the Pistons won tonight. The Pelicans mascot is kind of cool

How bout them 76ers beating the Heat last night! Unbelievable. Look out for rookie MCW, Michael Carter Williams. 1 steal and 1 rebound away from a quadruple double in his NBA debut.

Warriors looked downright SCARY last night in giving the Lakers a huge ass-whipping in Oakland, 125-94. The Warriors did not play ONE starter in the 4th quarter. The Lakers are no good this year, you say? Kobe didn't play you say? Well, the Lakers delivered an ass-whipping of their own to the Clippers the night before in their opener.

Will know more about The Warriors tonight.........they play the Clippers in L.A. I'd say the Clippers will certainly be ready after the whippin' they took from the Lakers Tuesday night. But if one game is any indication.............the Warriors are gonna be awfully tough this year. They are certainly DEEP. The biggest question mark is how they fill in for the loss of second-string point guard Jarrett Jack, who won a lot of games for them last year. Last night it sure didn't look like a problem.

Golden State will be a nice threat in the West. They can easily go to the conference finals or even the finals. I'm glad to see new teams emerging than the same ones every year.

Yep, Stephen Curry w/a triple double in 3 qtrs of play tonite -- Iguadala 32 points -- nice looking team in GS this year -- let's go Celts, mayb we can get our 1st win tonite altho we folded like cowflop against Mil. previously -- & that was with Bill Russell & members of the Sox looking on

A statue for Russ -- that's nice to see

Yes, and let's not forget that Philly was 3-0 going into this game in Philly, and one of those wins was against Miami. The Warriors were up by 30 by the end of the third quarter. And Harrison Barnes hasn't even played yet this year due to an injury. I predict Warriors - Clippers will be a dogfight for the Pacific division title. Warriors are 3-1 and that loss came via the Clippers. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.........what a highlight reel combo.

Too bad about Derrick Rose -- you kinda knew this might happen tho -- where he was so ultra cautious after his 1st knee surgery -- you knew that subconsciously he'd be favoring his other knee -- sure enough -- if he comes back he'll never be the same player -- an awesome guard in his prime tho

Let's go Celts -- maybe we can make something happen in a moribund division (hehe -- always did like that word)

Warriors pulled one out in New Orleans tonight, 102-101, without Andre Igoudala and Andrew Bogut. It was my first look at Anthony Davis, he looks scary! Already good, but at his age, huge upside to come.

Same thing last night too, Warriors over NO -- where's JO?

W/Chandler & Lopez about to return, gotta feeling the 2 NY teams will make a move in the moribund Atlantic -- the ? is, how will RR's return affect us -- next ? being, When does he return -- they said at first he was ahead of schedule, now they're saying Jan. sometime

how RR gets along w/Brad Stevens, obviously, will determine what happens on the court -- we're not doing too bad so far --

mid-Dec., but we already know that it's an East Conf. Finals preview tonight w/Indy-Miami -- can Danny Granger help them -- weird, from hotshot to afterthought -- injuries & numbers haven't been kind to this Talented player, but his team has flourished in his absence

Let's go Celtics

Pacers or Heat in the East....the rest suck. If Pacers stay healthy and Grainger comes back.....Heat don't have a chance

Season series tied at 1-1 Pacers Heat.

Indiana wins last week at home and loses last night in Miami. It will be tough for either team.

Warriors had San Antonio last night at home and Popovich rested the big three, Duncan, Ginobili and Parker (Parker would not have played anyway due to an injury). It was their 7th game in 10 nights, so a smart move by Pop. And despite that, The Warriors lost, 104-102. Not a real good prognosis for their season. I tell you one thing: It really hit home last night how deep the Spurs really are! As it has for years, management has stocked this team with guys who can play: Kawhi Leonard, Tiago Splitter, Patty Mills, Boris Diaw, etc. And they all BRING it. I think that if you don't give Pop 110%, you're on the bench, it's that simple.

Yep, ever since the 1997-98 season they've won a minimum of 53 games except once, that being a strike year when they went 37-13 -- it's amazing how good they've been for so long -- also, that was the only year they won 53 games, so that in 13 of the last 15 years they've won 55 or more per season
continuity -- it goes a long way

The Warriors are in trouble. They are now 14-13 and if the playoffs started now they would not be in. Great article in the local paper today; they need a serious scorer to come off the bench, and they need one soon. The trade deadline is not until sometime in February. Their bench is just not getting it done. They let Jarrett Jack and Carl Landry go to free agency in the off-season and it has REALLY hurt them! Those guys were both studs off the bench for them last year. Anyone knows that you will not win in the NBA consistently with a great starting lineup alone. Steph Curry is GREAT but they are putting it on his shoulders every night and also playing him too much..........it'll take it's toll, and he may end up getting hurt again. Also, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes are in horrible shooting slumps.

OUCH...............should have never opened this thread. I've got the Warriors - Heat on DVR, so I have it only at halftime now.............but after Stephen's post I know who won. That's OK, gonna watch the second half anyway. Yes, SEVEN straight! They went on that run RIGHT after my earlier post saying that they needed bench help. The bench has been playing much better but they still could use a solid shooter.................

Now that I finished watching the game........Steph Curry and David Lee were both OUT of their minds tonight. Curry had 36 and 12 assists, 8 of 15 from three. Lee? Just 32 points and 14 boards. Chris Bosh could NOT guard him!!

Despite a big win tonight in Miami, this game illustrates exactly what I said earlier: They are playing Curry WAY too much. He played 44 minutes tonight and they play again tomorrow night in Atlanta. Yes, they need another reliable scorer off the bench. They are risking Curry getting hurt again.

Sorry bro! -- imagine you were Real stoked for the 2nd half too -- bummer, have had that happen before too -- yeah hopefully they can spell Curry -- this run comes w/out Andre Iguodala too

Jazz I think are starting to turn corner -- still no threat for playoffs but finishing around .500 would be good for the rebuilding Jazz -- what they're doing, rebuilding from within, is to be respected & sorta how the Pirates do it in baseball

something was decidedly strange nugs & Karl parting ways after that great last season -- bottom line, it's going south nowadays in the mile-high -- Andre Miller, the 1st DNP-CD of his career, now suspended 2 games - they've lost 8 in a row

Let's go Celts -- here comes the key West Coast swing, w/you guys (week from 2nite), OKC, LAC etc etc -- we've lost 4 of 5, but if those skanky NYC teams can win in OKC & SA like last nite, we can too

no telling on RR's return -- he's working out & practicing -- starting to take on that Eric Gordon/Derrick Rose look of things -- medically cleared, awaiting mental confidence -- C'MON C'S, 3-4 games on this trip would do wonders for their team confidence...
