Just received Warren Haynes: Benefit Concert Vol 4. Happy happy, joy joy!
I pre-ordered it from the Evil Teen Records store because of the bonus disc.
I want to collect everything from the Christmas Jams so i was really looking forward to it.
Very happy with the fast shipment but i unfortunally discovered that they send me the bonus disc that came with the previous release (Vol. 3, XMas Jam 2001). So now i have to contact them to get the right disc. In case i have to return the bonus disc received and pay for the packaging & shipment it's gonna be pricey since the free bonus disc already resulted in higher international shipping costs (even if it doesn't weigh more than a few grams).

Did anybody else got the wrong bonus disc?

Received mine today. It also contained the bonus disc from 2001. I called musictoday and they were aware of this issue and now have the correct bonus disc in stock. She took my info and said that the correct disc will go out tomorrow.

Same here. While I'm not thrilled waiting for the correct bonus disc (was planning on listening to it on the trip up to Asheville on Saturday). On the bright side, I didn't pre-order the 2001 Christmas Jam, so I will end up with 2 bonus discs for this order.

I called them and they resolved it in less than 2 minutes including hold time. No fuss at all and did not need the other returned.

What is it with those people at musictoday? I received the wrong bonus disc too. When I pre-ordered Warren's Man in Motion cd they sent me 4 copies of the bonus DVD from the Christmas show last year. They sent it to me in 3 separate orders. Wonder what they are smoking at the place.

I just got off the phone with them. I simply gave them my address and they said they would UPS the correct CD on their dime today.

I have had a couple of issues with Musictoday products and I must say, their customer service is top notch. They really do a great job of keeping their customers happy in my experience.

I've got a email reply within a few hours. They will send the correct bonus disc and i don't have to return the other one. So kudos to their customer service.

BTW, i'm really digging volume 4 so far! Great to hear Sonny Landreth play with John Hiatt.

Funny that you mention Sonny playing with Hiatt. I was thinking the same thing. Their sounds are so different but they sure pull it off well.

A question for those who already received the proper bonus disc:

Did it come with a similar slim cardboard cover with art and info? I hope it's not a plain paper CD cover like the one the Warren Haynes Band 2010 Christmas Jam DVD was packaged in.

Thanks for the info Hedges. Too bad they opted for this plain cover. I don't think i will pre-order next time. Some basic cover art would have been cool already. Looks rather cheap this way. Okay it's a free bonus disc but international shipping is even more expensive with the bonus disc added. I know the music is the most important thing but since i collect stuff from the XMAS-Jams i'm very dissapointed that they stopped making cover art. Bummer.
