Both of these signs are on N.C. 73. The
Description: Both of these signs are on N.C. 73. The "STANDBACK" sign is near the Richmond/Montgomery county border east of Mt. Gilead. The "ALLMAN" sign is just west of Mt. Pleasant near the intersection with N.C. 49. You'll notice the yellow square the "STANDBACK" sign ... well, just as you turn onto the street on which the "ALLMAN" sign is located there's another street sign that reads "NO OUTLET" --- so both signs, in effect, are saying "One Way Out" :-)
