| Description: This was one of the biggest nights of my entire life...I got to meet the one and only Curt Schilling, the hero of the Boston Red Sox, on October 29th, 2005, two days after the one-year anniversery of the Sox 2004 World Series win in St. Louis, MO. This was so cool, I was in pure bliss. How I got to meet him goes like this: My school put together a picnic table and raffled it off, with all the money from it going to Curt's Pitch For ALS, Curt's charity drive. A few people from my school went to present Curt with the check. I was one of them, and the rest is history. BTW, that's me on the far left side in the Sox hat, and Curt's the guy next to me, along with his lovely wife Shonda (in black and white.) The rest of the crew is my friends/teachers, whom I will not mention. Enjoy! | |
