I met Tom Dowd on July 31, 1993 backstage at a show in Vermont. What a beautiful person he was! He was grecious with his time - and I had him all to myself 'cause everyone else was clamouring around The Brothers. I don't think anyone else recognized him. It was a precious thing, man. So I got him to autograph my insert for the Chronicles version of the Fillmore shows, because he did the liner notes. I met everyone that night except Dickey (in jail) and Butch, but the highlight was Tom. God bless.

fanfrom-71I met Tom around the same time at Morrisound studio in Tampa FL I agree about him being very cordial and easy to speak with. One of the biggest highlights in my life for sure!
