Description: I was surprised that I didn't see this picture on your site so I scanned it (yea, maybe I just missed it). It's from one page of a photo book "Live At The Fillmore East" and it's supposedly from 2/11/70. Jerry is in the back (in the dark); I believe Duane has his back to us; Mick Fleetwood has his arms outstretched; I think Berry is between the drummers. Is Dickey between Gregg and Butch? And is John McVie between Pigpen and Mick?
Capnlooks like that might be Dickey with the guitar stage right??? i'll print this out and see if he knows
Capncant seem to get it to print.. great pic "nevertheless"
rockman627I don't know; it's not really clear, but I think the person between Pigpen and Mick Fleetwood is holding a bass and that's why I concluded John McVie; on the other hand(literally?) he seems to be using a pick. Could it possibly be Peter Green?
FrankJrDuane is behind and to the left of Gregg. Berry is playing bass, and Butch is playing second drums.

klr61from the left is Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, Pig Pen, Bob Weir, Danny Kirwin with his back facing us to the right brother Gregg Allman, Duane Allman, Butdh Trucks, Berry Oakley, Bill Krutzman and Jerry Garcia and I think Mickey Hart in the rear waving a

rockman627Phil Lesh's book "Searching for the Sound" devotes about 2 pages to describing this very event. A quote: "THIS is what it's all about".
