got this off a myspace bulletin from the Wanee festival page

I have received several emails from folks asking if there will be tickets available at the gate. There will be tickets available for purchase at the festival gates, the pricing schedule is as follows:

1 Day Passes are Available for $80

2 Day Passes are Available for $150

I'll add this information to the blog section of the page, and remember to refer back to the Wanee Festival homepage for any other information regarding the festival. Click Here To Visit the Wanee Festival's Official Site

Thanks for your continued interest and excitement regarding this year's festival. The excitement and anticipation is ever-growing as the date draws near. Just one more week and we'll all be dancing to the incredible positive energy that live music brings!

I may end up with an extra ticket. A friend of mine may not be able to meet me but I won't know till the 10th. If someone knows they'll buy at the door then send me a PM so we can exchange cell #'s just in case. The cost is $125 for the two day pass.

I will be at the front parking area at 10 Friday morning. Anyone having an extra ticket they need to get rid of can do so. I will be in a White 4dr 2000 Chevrolet Impala with Florida car tag. My name is John and I will hang around until noon trying to get ticket from public.

Oh yea they take Credit Cards. They have mine on file. They just ask me same card Jesse? You go to Springfest,Wanee and the River Jam(Gold tickets) it will set you back. I could take a cruise to Europe with the money I spend during this time.

here are some more answers from the myspace page admin who is asking Fantasma:

I'm gonna post the bulletin now, but here's the scoop: All major credit cards will be accepted at the gate. You will also be able to upgrade your festival ticket to a VIP package at the gate for a cost of $200. Thank you for relaying the message over to the Hittin the Web forums; it totally slipped my mind to post the new information over there. Thank you!

Ya really think that VIP upgrade is worth it?
I wonder where that section of the front of ths stage will be?
I hope it doesn't cut into Teresa's, Emily's and my space!

ok now I'm confused....for an additonal $200 bucks we can become VIP if we already have a ticket?

unless they give me a foot rub and bring me umbrella drinks i'm not doing it. more money for the swag, the vendors are great at wanee.....

I kinda thought that they might put the VIP seating on the concrete platform to the right of the main stage if you are looking at it. I haven't been to any of the festivals that have the VIP stuff so I sure hope they don't stick these people down on the front cause I have been camped out there for months now and it belongs to me and the Benjamin's.

Mother T, I think you are right about where the VIP section will be. I might have asked them that when I called them about it awhile ago and I think they said it was to the side of the stage. I might try it just for the fun of it and to be a guinea pig to let anyone know for next year whether it was worth it or not. I'd need to know if I could go back and forth between VIP and non. As I said before, it might be worth it just for the bathrooms! Too bad it doesn't include a bedroom in the treehouse.

yeah it wouldn't be bad, but I can't see it being worth it. I like the idea of the seating not being in front, that'd be a huge cheap shot and terrible. So I'm glad to hear that it most likely won't be like that. Also appreciate to know I can pay with my credit card.

The concrete slab that is at Springfest and Magfest is the stage at Wanee and the River Jam.
They may put them in the Treehouse. If they put them up front all hell will break loose. At the river jam they do put you right up front. They rope it off and have security guards that will not allow you to get close. Lord I hope they don't try that at Wanee.

At Springfest and Magfest they use the smaller concrete slab as the stage and the bigger slab as the performers waiting area. They do it backwards at Wanee and use the bigger slab as the stage. I still think they may put the VIP seating on the smaller slab to the right of the stage and I sure hope they do not block off the front rows.

I'm going to do the VIP thing if it is not a hassle to upgrade when I get there. It's my vacation and I won $$ at the casino yesterday, enough to more than cover the price difference.
