Nice ! Good years, good shows. Am hoping they will cough up the 1981 Greek Theater Berserkly Run someday.

There was a time I wanted to collect every audience recording of every concert where they used "The Wall of Sound".
I think I still have a few.

I haven’t listened to that era since the “Europe” expanded release several yrs back. Looking forward to it.

6/22/73 is one of the all time greats.

The run in the second set is so much fun...especially the He's Gone>Truckin>Nobody's Fault But Mine Jam>The Other One>Wharf Rat>Sugar Mag

This is cool. Wonder what it's going to cost?

Just got an email from The Dead folks. $190 for 19 discs. I guess ten bucks a disc isn't bad.

This set of shows was one of my favorites taped by the great Jerry Moore.
Jerry Moore was like the Betty Cantor of audience tapers.

You can get them all off of archive.org with the grateful grabber app/program.

I love the dead but I am not sure why anyone would pay that much for dead shows when you can easily trade shows and get soundboards or audience recordings that sound great and include the full show? Or get them other ways.

For some solid reasons: First, good karma to purchase a well crafted quality work of art on legit market, if you can afford it. Second, Phenomenal collector value, one of the best investments on the planet, these Dead boxes resell for many times the purchase value. If you haven't seen these productions up close they are really well done, lots of art, and pains have been taken for great sound, much better than the free circ versions.

For a gift for a deadhead friend, who was so stoked it was a bargain, got the 77 box last year, already worth several times more, and it relieved me of a fraction of the pirate's curse upon my soul for the THOUSANDS of hours of free music I have , so it's an honor system, buy something from The Dead once in a while.
