I suspect Kelly demanded Scary-Mucci be fired as a condition of his accepting the Chief of Staff gig. I would bet more firings will follow. In fact I wouldn't be shocked if Bannon's is the next head to roll.

While I'm no Trump supporter, I'd rather see a functioning White House prepared for the inevitable crisis than what we've witnessed these past few months. For the sake of the country we need adults pulling the real cords of power since we have a incompetent man child at the actual helm.

Thank god Kelly accepted the gig as we're an embarrassment to the rest of the world. A world that certainly needs a stable presence in the White House to put the shackles on our obvious clown President.

What if the President is getting paranoid about the people around him invoking the 25th Amendment?

Hmmm.

This should be a eye opener for those who think DT has their backs...He brought in Scary to do some dirty work and then phucked him when the temp got to hot....

It should also be an eye opener for Mr Scary....and anyone who works for DT...

Kicked to the curb....his wife is divorcing him for taking the job he no-longer has....what a boob and what a shining light on how DT thinks and works

Yep...with all the qualified people on the GOP ticket...the uncivil clown got the vote....Just sad

That is exactly what Robert Reich wrote today about a conversation with a former gop congressman.

The right knows trump is having a mental breakdown but they'll keep him around long enough to get their clownservative bullsh!t agenda passed.

Once he's completely useless they'll go 25th Amendment and pence will take over.

American Taliban, y'all.

Unfortunately, Scaramucci is the only one exiting the clown car today. Does that mean Spicey and Prince Pubis can get back in?

I agree with the doctor / garbageman comment above. I wonder if the garbageman botched a surgery on a member of Paul Ryan's family, if Ryan would just shrug and say, "He's new at this."

I have no problem with someone running as an outsider - people are free to change careers. I have a major problem with someone running as a completely unprepared and joyfully ignorant outsider. No single person has disrespected the American people more than this jackass who made no effort to even attempt to learn how our system of government functions. The Republicans who continue to make excuses for him are just about as loathsome. Remember all their talk about personal responsibility? They are enabling an unprepared president... it it gut-turning. They say that poor people are just making excuses for their own personal failures. Then they turn around and say, effectively, "How would he know the Justice Department isn't his personal legal defense operation - he was a just a jackass reality television personality a year ago?"

Don't run for president before you learn what it takes to be president. Hiring a functioning communications department is a very small part of the job (and probably the closest to his old TV career), and he was clearly not even prepared for that.

What a joke.............!

Kelly may in as COS, but doesn't look like he's been able to get King Donald to put down his phone. Another good day for tweets. What would the orange guy be w/out his twitter account spinning to the 36%?

Someone in the position of Communications Director cannot speak to or about people in the way that he did. The barrage of insults and denigration he launched against Sean Spicer made it seem like he was a loose cannon, you can't have that in a Communications Director.

Exactly....

Isn't having voted for Trump the same as saying that human decency has no value whatsoever?

What his boss says in private is the same as what other bosses say in private to their employees when they are angry. I had one boss who would told one person in a board meeting if the person did not complete all that he gave him to do, he would 'rip him out a new a-hole'. He would never say that sort of thing in public. Most the employees thought of him as kind, considerate, quiet, which he was, but then there was that other side. Thankfully I was on his good side, so I did not get the wrath, but I knew those who were not so fortunate.

We have all seen the Apprentice, and see how Donald treated people, he would be reasonable, ask for explanations, then make decisions. I only saw one or two times where he got angry and cursed at an employee, for the most part I do not think that is part of his management style. He tries to be decent and worthy of the trust the public has placed in him. He has a great responsibility and no time for childish nonsense, if he has to get tough, he does, and at those times, just like on the show I would think he makes his decision and them implements it. He is the CEO of a country. He has to be decisive and get things done. He has to delegate to his staff, and they need to do their jobs.

I would say that we are in a large amount of trouble if the people who support the president use his reality TV appearances to defend or explain his actions.

Hello, 39% of America, TELEVISION IS NOT REAL. How is having been on reality TV not an automatic disqualification for someone seeking the presidency?

These are the same folks who are "so sick of entertainers telling me what my politics should be", but they are Trump voters, Reagan voters, and probably had the "Charlton Heston Is My President" bumper stickers in the 1990s. Oh yeah, they love hearing Ted Nugent talking politics, too. It is weird that these are the voters who can be duped by "showmen" into voting against their own interests.
