Even though I'm not a Clapton-kind-of-guy, that's sad to see. Bob Dylan can't play guitar anymore due to physical conditions.

When you get down to it, enjoy all things youth and health while we can. We never know what will happen and sometimes it can change in a blink of an eye.

Every day is a gift. Turn it up and play it Loud And Proud

That's just intrusive TMZ worthy stuff. Leave the man alone with some dignity.

A friend of mine from high school got sick with bronchitis, went to flu, then pneumonia in about a three week period. Hospital, then hospice. Died a week ago Sunday. 63.

Sorry, no video.

Man, cut the guy some slack. He's 72 and Bronchitis can really kick your butt no matter how old you are. He looked in pretty good spirits and alert.

What an ass, that guy with the Dodgers hat. Now might not be the best time to get an autograph. Dodger fans.

Makes all the whining that took place about his performance at recent shows seem pretty petty now.

Tall guy did his job. Proper body shielding between EC and rude dude. I suspect he was security or skilled at least. He was interacting (words would be interesting, you bet) and if dude entered zone it would probably have ended quickly.

Sad to see Clapton confined to a wheel chair but great seeing the interaction between him and
his daughters. I watched a tour film from 3-4 years ago. Clapton traveling the globe with his kids in tow. Kids were seeing the master when playing extremely well.

I own a Martin EC (Eric Clapton) 000-28. My greatest rock and roll dream would be to meet Eric and get him to sign it and tell him the back story on it. But I would never invade his personal space like this - especially if he was ill. Some fans seem to think that they are entitled to access. Everybody - even bona fide "rock gods" deserve their personal space - even in a public place. I wish Eric the same peace and comfort that I wish for Gregg. God bless 'em both.

The guy had a Strat pick guard to get signed so must have known that he would be there somehow. Hope Eric didn't sign it.

I saw Les Paul (two shows!) at the Iridium shortly after his 90th birthday. After the last show, he sat at a table to meet and greet. I had a very brief but sweet chat with him and he signed my copy of "The New Sound" (framed and on the wall behind me as I type. Neer for sale at any price!). There were several people with STACKS of Gibson/Epiphone pickguards. I mean STACKS of 'em. You know they were going to stick these things on the cheapest import guitars and sell them on Ebay as "Les Paul autographed guitars".
Folks like this are nothing better than vultures. To call them a$$holes would be unfair to a$$holes. Grrr!
