Well it ain't the all night train, this train has some ideas on who should fill positions in a Trump Administration.

Newt Gingrich for Secretary of State
Ben Carson, Surgeon General
Rudy Guiliani, Homeland Security
Jeanine Piro, Supreme Court Justice

Interesting, he will surround himself with people who like to kick butt as much as he does. Washington will never be the way it was before the Trump Train came to town. That might be a very good thing.

Others recently appointed to the Trump campaign include Steve Bannon. He's been the Executive Chairman of Brietbart News and helped the following: It was Breitbart, for example, that helped expose the sexual proclivities of New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner. Bannon also helped set up a spin-off thinktank called the Government Accountability Institute that published a book alleging that the Clintons had pulled strings for foreign donors to their foundation. But Bannon, a former Goldman Sachs banker who made part of his fortune through a stake in Seinfeld, has been a key figure in the anti-establishment revolt that has swept through the Republican party.

Among other changes, Trump pollster Kellyanne Conway has also been promoted to campaign manager. At Trump tower on Wednesday, Conway put a smile on what she refused to acknowledge as a “shakeup” and told the Guardian whether things turned nasty was “up to the Clinton campaign”. “This is an expansion at an incredibly busy time, the last 12-week homestretch for the campaign,” said the new campaign manager. “We look at personnel more and more. With Paul continuing as our chairman and Rick Gates as his deputy, Stephen Bannon and I have been added to what I would call the ‘core four’ of that senior team and we’re going to divide responsibilities according to our best an highest uses,” she said.

“Two or three things we’ve all learned about Donald Trump is,

No 1: don’t underestimate him.

No 2: you know he exceeds expectations.

And No 3: he also exceeds the metrics that are usually at play, meaning he over-performed many of his polling averages in the primaries and the caucuses,” she said.

“Buckle up,” was the message of one Trump strategist in a text to the Washington Post.

REMARKS: For the naysayers, it ain't over. Far from it.

Trump also received his first National Security Briefing today at an FBI field office in NYC.

NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump has received his first classified intelligence briefing, meeting with national security officials for more than two hours on Wednesday. The celebrity businessman became entitled to the briefings once he officially became the Republican nominee for president. The briefing was delivered by career staffers from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and was expected to cover major threats and emerging concerns around the world.

The afternoon briefing was held at an FBI field office at a federal building in New York City, a facility which has the secure rooms required for such sensitive briefings. Trump did not speak to reporters upon entering or exiting the building and a campaign spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment about the briefing. But Trump, in an interview that aired just hours before the briefing, suggested he would be skeptical of its contents when he was asked if he trusted the nation's intelligence materials.

"Not so much from the people that have been doing it for our country," Trump told Fox News. "I mean, look what's happened over the last 10 years...it's been catastrophic."

Trump brought along some top advisers, including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, to the briefing. A U.S. intelligence official said that generally, advisers who attend the briefings must have appropriate security clearances. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to disclose information about the candidates' intelligence briefings. Defense Intelligence Agency says that the agency maintains security clearances for all its former directors, including Flynn, who served in the post from 2012-2014.

The briefing came two days after Trump delivered a speech on national security and just hours after he gathered several advisers for a security round table at Trump Tower. The advisers, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, encouraged the GOP nominee to press for more surveillance and more information-sharing with local police departments to fight terror threats if he's elected president. The FBI does share with local police agencies through Joint Terrorism Task Forces.

REMARKS: Pretty smart of him to bring people with him, he should continue that as a policy.

Definitely. A change of direction is so badly needed, if not already too late. Perhaps our only chance
will be possible only with someone like Trump. it's time........past time.

He will surround himself with losers just like himself. Irrelevant as he won't win.

Maybe then you'll see your dream of eradicating liberalism realized?

Yeah, Trump shows that he can play well with others. There goes the system of checks and balances.

Besides, you were the guy who claimed that gridlock was the way that the government is supposed to work. Now you say we need a change? LMAO. You are a trip.

“This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign,” Mr. Trump said in a statement. “I am very appreciative for his great work in helping to get us where we are today, and in particular his work guiding us through the delegate and convention process. Paul is a true professional and I wish him the greatest success.”

The ledger covered payments from 2007 to 2012, when Mr. Manafort worked for the party and its leader, Viktor F. Yanukovych, Ukraine’s former president who was deposed. Mr. Kalyuzhny was also a founding board member of a Brussels-based nongovernmental organization, the European Center for a Modern Ukraine, that hired the Podesta Group, a Washington lobbying firm that received $1.02 million to promote an agenda generally aligned with the Party of Regions.

Because the payment was made through a nongovernmental organization, the Podesta Group did not register as a lobbyist for a foreign entity. A co-founder of the Podesta Group, John D. Podesta, is chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and his brother, Tony Podesta, runs the firm now.

Ukrainian officials emphasized that they did not know as yet if the cash payments reflected in the ledgers were actually made. In all 22 instances, people other than Mr. Manafort appear to have signed for the money. But the ledger entries are highly specific with funds earmarked for services such as exit polling, equipment and other services.

REMARKS: " Because the payment was made through a nongovernmental organization, the Podesta Group did not register as a lobbyist for a foreign entity. A co-founder of the Podesta Group, John D. Podesta, is chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and his brother, Tony Podesta, runs the firm now."

Is it just a coincidence that this information came out at this time and John D. Podesta is Chairman of Hillary's campaign and his brother runs the NGO that made the payments to lobbtying group?
Or was it political payback for Trump telling Russia that if they could they should find her missing emails?
