NEW YORK --
According to one leading evangelical figure, Donald Trump has found religion.
Dr. James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family, told Michael Anthony of Godfactor that Trump recently developed and accepted a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The interview took place Tuesday in New York, during the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's private event with evangelical leaders.

Dobson said in the interview that evangelicals need to cut Trump some slack because he didnít grow up with religion as they did. He also said of Trump, "Heís a nicer guy than you realize."
According to exit polls, Trump fared well with evangelical voters during the primary season, despite questions about his faith.
Dobson encouraged everyone to pray for Trump.

What a coincidence, he just happened to suddenly find Jesus while he was going for the Christian voting bloc. He's still a ferret wearing sh*tgibbon.

Timing is everything.

Only the ignorant and naive individuals would believe this. Not worth the press time afforded to this.

As soon as this gets out, Trump is destroyed. I thought it might be the Scottish golf course
expose, but this will probably be what finally does him in.

No alloak, there are plenty of other things to do in the "true conservative" that is leader of the GOP. There's a never ending trail of ignorant things your guy has said such as, "I Know More About ISIS than the Generals Do, Believe Me." I mean - with all of Trump's years of military knowledge & service, who would question him on that. The list goes on and on.

Then why water it down with weak attacks that have no teeth? It makes his opponents only appear
petty, desperate, fearful.

The guy doesn't know the difference between Scotland and England, England being our oldest and most vital economic ally, yet he's the one to "turn things around."

Three weeks to the convention and your candidate is in Scotland opening a golf course, but that's no big deal.

How does one Make America Great Again from a golf course in Scotland?

Ha ha ha ha. There are so many things (small & large) that add up piece by piece on Donald, that you can dismiss them, but in the end, they will anchor the "religious" man that cites 2 Corinthians.

alloak, for years you've cited the GOP losing elections due to not running a conservative candidate. Please tell us that you believe that Donald is that conservative candidate that finally fills your void.

Maybe Trump has been quietly getting educated by those who do know. You don't know what websites he reads. Ohhhhhhh whippin' post!

Those who do know (especially many of the military leaders) don't want much to do with him. Ever wonder why?

GOP Senators & House members & governors not jumping on the good ship, Donald Trump. Ever wonder why?

Still talk of committed delegates not backing him at the convention in order to vote "their conscience". Ever wonder why?

I remember when you got such a great and repeated laugh out of Obama visiting 57 states, but your boy doesn't know the difference between Scotland and England and you're all good with it. How shocking. Then again, Sarah Palin having foreign policy expertise because Russians flew over her head was no big deal either, so maybe it's just a case of naturally low expectations.

In the meantime, a fruitless search for the perfect candidate will continue until the end of time....

Despite this fact, there is no way on God's green earth that I would EVER vote for Hillary Clinton
for anything. Never. If that troubles some folks here I apologize, but it's not going to change.

Sadly it almost always seems to come down voting against who we dislike most rather than about voting for anyone.

Most definitely pronounced in this election, on both sides apparently.
