You got to love ‘em.

The liberals screamed about The Patriot Act soon after 9/11. The left-wing loons were all “OMG, Bush wants to know what library books we are reading” and demanding their privacy.

A few years later under Obama the NSA is collecting American Citizens phone and email records and not a peep from the liberals. Where is their outrage now?
Obama’s DNI Clapper even lied under oath that The NSA was not spying on American Citizens.
So the liberals have no problem with the country’s top intelligence officer lies under oath?

The courts have upheld Klayman’s legal action against Obama. It would seem Klayman is doing exactly what the liberals wanted to do against Pres. Bush. Six years ago.

It would appear that the liberals have neither morals nor values, only a political ideology.

The hypocrisy of the left continues.

Of course the point of the article is that some moron still thinks Obama isn't a US citizen and wants him deported. I can't believe that this garbage still comes up.

As far as the Patriot Act and the government snooping into personal records, I didn't like it when Bush did it and I still don't like it now with Obama doing it. Nothing has charges as far as I'm concerned. I still don't think most on the left like it, although it seems like those on the right who were all for it under Bush now seem to not like it anymore. Who are the hypocrites again?

The ACLU (a mouthpiece for the left, according to many) has been very vocal and critical and has their own lawsuit against the NSA spying practices pending, has joined the lawsuits that others have filed, is urging the public to join them in pushing Congress to take action to curb these programs, and according to the article that started this thread will be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Klayman in support of his defense against appeal. The NSA program was initiated as a result of The Patriot Act, and a lot of people on the left are saying "I told you so" today. To imply there has been no "outrage" from the left is flat out wrong. What some might find interesting is that the right wholeheartedly supports these programs, or at least they used to when their guy was POTUS and the public supported less liberty in the name of security...now that the mood has changed they see a great opportunity to tag Obama with the political fall out. If you want talk about hypocrisy, that would be a good place to start.

The idiocy that the title of this thread refers to is more likely related to Klayman's "deportation petition" seeking to get Obama deported because of the birth certificate nonsense. How exactly does that compare to anything that the left, right or in between tried to do when Bush was POTUS? Do you think it has merit?

If, and that is a big if, the poster was referring only to that small part of the article it is cool with me.
Obama's residency requirement has been a subject of much discussion and if it keeps the matter in the news cool.
No proper investigation was ever performed as it should have been and until an independent probe is done the subject remains an open one.

Remember the liberals mantra during Pres. Bush's administration: Keep attacking until we find something.

Small part? Ha ha, that's funny. It was the title (Lawyer Who Beat the NSA Files Obama 'Deportation Petition') and primary point of the article.

No proper investigatiin was ever performed? HAHAHAHAHA

We do agree on one thing - I hope this stays in the news for as long as possible to keep reminding people how wacko many on the right wing are.

I'm assuming Donald Trump has his investigators out there searching and are close to finding the proof.

So you don't think that the birth certificate myth was a political tool developed by right wing extremists?

I assume you think the birthers have a legitimate claim?

And while we're at it, do you personally believe that the President is an American born citizen?

Doesn't matter either way.
Obama's AG Holder would never allow any proper investigation to happen.

But the issue irritates Obama and therefore it is worth it.

Yes...nice Texas 2 Step by mule.

I ask 3 simple questions, and we get the Holder yaddy yada for an answer. From his posts on this site, it's high probability that we can figure his answers on the questions. Guess he just didn't want to directly answer.

It is just so much fun to play with the liberals... y’all just get so upset.

With Obama’s presidency circling the drain, you remain loyal.
While Obama’s poll ratings in every category show The American People’s disapproval, you remain loyal.

Y’all must have watched Obama’s boy Dan Pfeiffer get skewered on Meet the Press (a left-leaning political show) Sunday?
Chuck Todd, the latest moderator, asked Pfeiffer how The American People can have any trust in the Obama administration and Dan Pfeiffer only answering with the pre-approval lame line:

CHUCK TODD:

I think one of your challenges though is a trust deficit that has been created over the last 18 months. I want to put up a graphic, whether you believe it's fair or not, it is a fact about all the different sort of government gaps over the last 18 months. Edward Snowden stealing NSA files, the VA faking wait times, IRS losing emails, healthcare.gov doesn't launch.
The president himself saying, "U.S. intelligence agencies underestimated ISIS." The DHS, the border failure with that surge over the summer, sort of failure, and of course, the secret service. Why should we trust that what you're saying about the CDC is able to handle this? You understand why there's more skepticism than normal.

DAN PFEIFFER:

Look, I do understand that people have had a growing skepticism of institutions for a long time, including government. But people should know that everyone in the situations you mentioned, where a problem arises, we deal with it. We deal with it quickly, we deal with it forcefully to make sure it doesn't happen.
Let's take one example that got a lot of attention over the summer, which is the surge at the Southwestern border. That was a problem that came. We brought to bear every resource possible to do it. And this month, crossings at the borders are less than they were this time last year--

But you liberals stay loyal…

jkeller,

I think you're on target re: the "mule one"

When he makes a statement, is called out on it with direct questioning, really doesn't want to answer, he chooses instead to deflect. The Holder response is a prime example.

As I pointed out a week or so ago, he has a habit of either opening or closing a post with insults. Let no post go wasted without the opportunity to abrasively insult. That's big. In this thread, he doesn't disappoint.

pops, Obama's failures have been repeatedly shown in many posts here, in the media and in the major polls.

Yet another trait of the liberals.
