The NFC Central is so terrible the Vikings probably still have a shot.

You want to know how bad Cutler is? Packers fans would be crushed if he went down, we love that guy and hope he stays healthy for a long time.

3-0 with extra time to prep for Sexy Rexy and the bills. Not bad. BB absolutely schooled O'Brien last night. And whatever they paid Dante Scarnechia to come out of retirement, it wasn't enough.

HA!!

I use to have an autographed picture of Chester Marcol and John Anderson from when I used to live in Wisconsin as a kid. I will have to see if I can find it and post it here. Lord knows where its at and even if I still have it.

Not that Houston is a big threat or anything, but New England just keeps on rolling. Maybe Brady isn't that great at all, maybe it's just the system...

Uh-oh!! You just lit a fire under the TB12 fan boys here. Get ready for an onslaught of memes, pictures, stats and other NE paraphernalia and propaganda .

It does make you think that with him and others. Brady no doubt is one of the best, but there is a system in place where they can shuffle players in and out and still maintain a high level of play for the most part. It pains me to say that but its the truth.

I won my pick 'em pool again this week. I didn't think I had a chance watching the game last night because I took the Saints. Won anyway.

This week's picks:

Houston New England (NE)
Arizona Buffalo (Ariz)
Oakland Tennessee (Oak)
Cleveland Miami (Miami)
Baltimore Jacksonville (Balt)
Detroit Green Bay (GB)
Denver Cincinnati (Denver)
Minnesota Carolina (Carolina)
Washington New York (Giants)
Los Angeles Tampa Bay (LA)
San Francisco Seattle (Seattle)
New York Kansas City (Jets)
San Diego Indianapolis (Indy)
Pittsburgh Philadelphia (Pitts)
Chicago Dallas (Dallas)
Atlanta New Orleans (Atl)

Went 11-5 in picks this week. Philly and Minnesota were the big surprises, NFC East should be interesting this season.

Packers came out swinging against the Lions and held them off. Pretty decent considering how many starting defenders were sitting on the sidelines. Still, would like to see them get some momentum going after this week's bye.

Week 4 picks, a lot of interesting games:

Miami Cincinnati (Miami)
Indianapolis Jacksonville (Indy)
Tennessee Houston (Houston)
Cleveland Washington (Wash)
Seattle New York (Seattle)
Buffalo New England (NE)
Carolina Atlanta (Atl)
Oakland Baltimore (Baltimore)
Detroit Chicago (Detroit)
Denver Tampa Bay (Denver)
Los Angeles Arizona (Ariz)
New Orleans San Diego (NO)
Dallas San Francisco (Dallas)
Kansas City Pittsburgh (Pitt)
New York Minnesota (Minn)

I turned to the Packers game and saw in the 2nd quarter had them down quite a bit so I quit watching . Detroit came back and it looks like they almost made a game of it. Philly winning was a big surprise also. They for real?!

Texans place J.J. Watt (back) on injured reserve
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000711263/article/jj-watt-reinjures-ba ck-could-miss-season
J.J. Watt will have to wait until next season to make a serious run at an unprecedented fourth NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.

The league's dominant defensive force re-injured his back during Houston's Week 3 loss to the New England Patriots, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday, according to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Texans re-signed veteran defensive end Antonio Smith for depth, the team announced.

There's a chance Watt could miss the rest of the season, per Rapoport. The Texans announced Wednesday they placed him on injured reserve. The hope is that he can return for a late-season playoff run. Texans coach Bill O'Brien told reporters he has no idea if Watt will need to undergo surgery.

The 27-year-old star missed the entire preseason after having surgery to repair a herniated disk in late July.

"We're looking forward to the challenge ahead," O'Brien said. "Obviously, we all feel bad for him."

Although Watt has yet to miss a game in his six-year career, he has suffered major injuries two of the last four times he has suited up.

Watt recently revealed that he questioned whether he would play again after tearing several abdominal muscles off the bone in the Texans' playoff loss to the Chiefs last January. Aggravating his back injury last week, Watt managed fewer than three tackles and zero quarterback hits for the first time since his rookie year in 2011.

He simply hasn't been the same disruptive wrecking ball since rushing back from July's surgery. That's hardly unusual for players returning from similar procedures.

Even with a diminished Watt, the Texans had emerged as the heavy favorites in an underwhelming AFC South. Buoyed by the linebacking quartet of Jadeveon Clowney, John Simon, Whitney Mercilus and Benardrick McKinney, Houston's pass rush was the league's most ferocious in Weeks 1 and 2.

Minus the NFL's lone player to be selected as a first-team All-Pro in each of the past four seasons, though, the ceiling is lower. After laying an egg at New England, the Texans were already generating skepticism as a weak-division pretender unable to compete with perennial AFC superpowers such as the Patriots and Broncos.

The greater concern, however, is for the long-term outlook of a once-in-a-generation talent.

Back injuries have been known to waylay the careers of superstars in every major sport. After just five NFL seasons, Watt was already slated to join Hall of Famers Lawrence Taylor and Reggie White in the pantheon of defensive legends. He has recorded more sacks per game (0.92) than any player since the statistic was first instituted in 1982.

Will he regain that same game-wrecking, pre-injury form the next time he stalks the gridiron? It's a fair question, but we wouldn't bet against him.

Robert Blanton #26 for the Bills just talked **** to Jacoby Brissett and pushed him. A small scuffle ensued as Brissett just continued to run in his pregame warmup but #19 of the Pats with some NE staffers getting into it with Bills players. Bills players came onto the NE part of the sideline to start **** . Rex really hates losing to Belichick, his players must know how much of a hardon he has for trying to beat NE.

9-6 this week, lots of minor surprises this week, some close division games. Things are getting clearer.

- Buffalo knocked NE in the teeth. Still don't see Buffalo making too much noise, especially with Brady returning this week and Cleveland on their platter.
- Indy looks pretty terrible right about now
- LA looks like it might make some noise, at least within the NFC West.
- Arizona and Carolina look pretty human about now, but it's only 1/4 of the way through the season, anyone can catch fire yet.
-The Bears got their first win over Detroit, headline of the day "John Fox refuses to hand job back to Jay Cutler when healthy". Guess there may not be a happy ending for Jay in Chicago.
-Viking continue to roll, but hey, it's the Vikings.

Week 5 picks:
Arizona San Francisco (Ariz)
New England Cleveland (NE)
Philadelphia Detroit (Philly)
Chicago Indianapolis (Chi)
Tennessee Miami (Tenn)
Washington Baltimore (Balt)
Houston Minnesota (Minn)
New York Pittsburgh (Pitt)
Atlanta Denver (Denver)
Cincinnati Dallas (Dallas)
Buffalo Los Angeles (LA)
San Diego Oakland (Oakland)
New York Green Bay (GB)
Tampa Bay Carolina (Car)

Good to see NE shut out at home.
Indy IS awful.

If you look at all of the undefeated teams, the defenses are all very strong and on the opposite side of the ball you have a rookie and former backups starting.

If this keeps up, I don't see Pagano making it to the end of the season. When you can't stop Stat Padford on a :40 second drill, you have issues.

The Eagles, Vikings, and Broncos - who knew? Makes for an exciting season. The Eagles were bound to be better without Chip Kelly, but who knew Wentz AND Bradford would be the top of the NFC after 4 games (and Carolina and Arizona would both be 1-3)? NFC East is probably the most even of the NFC divisions this year, there is no real bottom dweller, so it will be a tough 12 games. Vikings play the Eagles play October 23.

To be honest, I thought Irsay was gonna can him on the flight home. But really I think I a lot of this falls on the GM ,Ryan Grigson and his inability to build this team ...especially around Luck.
If this type of play keeps up both will be gone.

Yeah especially Bradford, I figured he was not going to pan out after all of this time.

I'm not saying Bradford will full on collapse, but the Vikings will find a way to mess it up. It's just what they do.

Do Indy fans like Irsay? He's seems to have a few screws loose, but then again, I tend to dislike owners who seek the spotlight or too much control.

I think overall they do,I do. He seems like a genuine nice guy, does a lot for the community, who has had some substance abuse issues. He likes the social media, to much at times for my taste.

Over the last year or so he has gotten frustrated with what has been going on with this team and the direction it has been going. I can't say I blame, it's his team, but maybe he needs to learn to step back. Its hard when you are passionate about something. It was easy for the many years when you had Bill Polian and Dungy running the show, now things have gone awry and maybe he feels the need to step in to settle things...I don't know. I just feel they might end up ruining Luck.
He played good yesterday, just needs an o line. He has been sacked 20 times in 5 games. Defense is awful.

I am still saying Pitt vs GB in the SB.
