Thread: Doc Watson 7-CD live gigs from 1974

The Owsley Stanley Foundation recently released a superb Doc Watson CD, Never the Same Way Once on June 23, 2017. Merle and T. Michael Coleman are everywhere, along with various guests. Itís 7 CDs and goes for $70.69; used copies arenít much better. They were recorded from May 1-4, 1974 but sound fresh as can be. The playing is topnotch and Merleís slide guitar is as solid as always.
